check carabiner and climbing eight for wear deeper than 1mm
verify knot is secure
inspect ceiling mount for structural integrity
never use if any damage is visible
Safe practice requirements:
wear appropriate clothing (no jewelry or sharp objects)
always use crash mat underneath
train barefoot or in appropriate aerial footwear
never practice alone – always have someone nearby
Critical maintenance:
Inspect carabiner, climbing eight, and ceiling mount regularly for material wear deeper than 1mm. replace immediately if wear is detected – internal wear can compromise structural integrity and cause sudden failure under load.
